Benefit Cosmetics CORALista Review

I’ve recently discovered a beautiful powder blush by Benefit that  is perfect for a natural, summery glow. I’ve been disappointed by most Benefit products I’ve tried so far, but this one has easily become one of my favorite everyday blushes. CORALista is available at Sephora for $28.00.

CORALista comes in an adorable little cardboard box in typical Benefit fashion with a mirror and a small brush that fits inside. I find the mirror to be useless since it is so tiny and I prefer to use my own MAC brush, so I’ve thrown this one away. CORALista is a warm, coral-pink with a beautiful, subtle floral scent that fills the air every time the box is opened.

One of the things I love the most about CORALista is that it provides a light, natural sheen that warms up your complexion without adding too much color or being too shimmery. I have the tendency to overdo it on blushes because I have a heavy hand, but this one can be layered on until I achieve the glow and flush that I desire. I find it incredibly easy to wear with almost anything, so it’s one of those I am constantly grabbing because it makes my makeup routine effortless. A great find! Here’s how Benefit CORALista looks on my face:

This is a favorite of mine, too. Although it’s pricey, the one I have has lasted for almost two years. Maybe that’s gross, but at least it’s not an eye product. 🙂

    • I’m not totally opposed to keeping certain makeup products for as long as it takes to use them up. Especially if you’re washing your brushes regularly and they don’t look like they should be thrown away. Blushes take FOREVER to use up anyway, so there’s no sense in tossing a quality, pricey blush just because the general timeline for keeping it has run out.
