I know. Lipstick again. By the same brand. Like I said, I’m obsessed. Lipstick Queen’s Jungle Queen lipstick was designed to pair with animal prints and supposedly flatters all complexions. I never got used to the idea of wearing animal print (in small doses, of course) until fairly recently. I splurged on a pair of leopard print sandals to make all my boring, solid-colored outfits stand out just a little bit without having to put forth much effort. Animal print aside, Jungle Queen stood out to me as that perfect orangey red that I love. It is available at Ulta for $22.00.
Jungle Queen is considered a semi-sheer lipstick, although it is relatively opaque with just one swipe on my lips. It applies very smoothly and doesn’t have any issues with highlighting any dry areas. The color lasts for an extremely long time (which says a lot, coming from me), and it isn’t drying at all.
I absolutely love this lipstick. Jungle Queen applies perfectly and doesn’t have any of the negative traits that cause me to stay far, far away from lipstick. I do feel it is a little too orangey and bright at times and extremely hard to match with many outfits, but when it does, it works beautifully.
