For Christmas last year, my husband gave me the NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Coffret (saving that for another post), a collection of NARS matte and satin lip pencils. It was my first time trying any of the NARS lip pencils. At the time I was lip pencil crazy and needed to try all of them, so it was a good starter set. While the mattes in that collection were very drying on me and gave me granny lips, I fell in love with the satin pencils. On our trip to Vegas in February I had to hit up a real live Sephora store (my town only has the dinky JCPenny version) and the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Hyde Park ended up being one of the treasures I brought home with me.
